Dav-Ernan Kowlessar is the Managing Associate of DYKON Developments (Caribbean) Ltd and the President of DYKON Developments Inc. (Canada). He is also a Business Development Executive at C-Level Executives LP (Canada)

Although he is regarded as a Business Development Consultant, his skill-set spans general management, accounting, management information systems, auditing, trade facilitation, economic development, project management and materials management. He has lectured at the School of Business and Computer Sciences, Trinidad and Tobago, in Project Management and Supply Chain, Procurement and Logistics.

He is a graduate of the University of the West Indies, Trinidad and Tobago, with a B.Sc. (Hons) in Industrial Management. He is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and has completed several courses in Economic Development and Trade including a certificate in Gender and Development Studies from the University of the West Indies. He holds Post Graduate Certification in Human Resources Management (Canada), and is currently pursuing certification in International Trade under the CITP.

At the regional level (Caribbean), Dav-Ernan has served in the capacity as President of the Caribbean Association of Consultants and Board Secretary of the Caribbean Association of Industry and Commerce - a position he currently holds again. He is the Corporate Secretary of the Hospitality Development Company Ltd (Saint Lucia); and was a Trustee on the Board of the now defunct Caribbean and Central American Action (CCAA).

 

Dav-Ernan has been a featured speaker at various conferences across the Caribbean, Fiji, The United Kingdom, North and Central America and Malaysia on subject areas such as trade agreements, globalization and finance, as well as institutional strengthening and the socio-financial market.

He is a long standing Rotarian and served as President of the Rotary Club of Maracas / St Joseph and is a current member of the Rotary Club of Halifax Harbourside. He is a member of the Caribbean Institute of Certified Management Consultants (CICMC) and was the interim President of the Trinidad and Tobago Chapter. As a project management professional he is a member of both the Nova Scotia and Southern Caribbean Chapters of the Project Management Institute.
